Application Submission & Eligibility Review
Applicants fill out the online application form to express interest in receiving a grant. This includes basic personal info, service history, and a brief explanation of their mental health needs or goals. It is important to be as descriptive as possible so we have a good idea of your situation and how we can help. Our team then reviews each submission to confirm eligibility—current or retired police service, need for mental health support, and alignment with our program values.
Consultation & Intake Call
Eligible applicants are invited to a one-on-one call with our team. We learn more about their background, challenges, and preferences to recommend the most suitable retreat options.
Matching With A Retreat
Based on the applicant's needs (e.g., trauma recovery, burnout, addiction support), we will discuss what treatment they are interested in to determine what path will be most helpful. Options may include therapy-focused, religious/spiritual-based, medicinal based, or legal psychedelic-assisted programs. It is important to note that it is the responsibility of the grant recipient to decide what kind of treatment is best for them and what retreat they go on.
Grant Approval & Travel Coordination
Once a retreat is selected, we finalize the grant. This may cover the full or partial cost of attendance, including travel and lodging. Our team helps coordinate the logistics so officers can focus solely on healing.
Retreat Experience
The officer attends the retreat, typically ranging from a few days to a week. These experiences are immersive, confidential, and guided by licensed professionals and trusted facilitators.
Post-retreat Support
We stay connected after the retreat with optional follow-up check-ins, integration coaching, and resource sharing. Healing doesn’t stop after the retreat—we’re here for the long term
